The new Thomas label is a return to the heritage of the brand founded by Irio Tommasini.  Thomas was the original name used by the young Irio when he built frames for racers in Italy.  As Irio’s frame building business expanded beyond the Italian shores he used his family name to grace the down tube of his masterpieces.  The T68 is a new project expanding on the knowledge the Tommasini engineers learned from previous carbon frames like Velocista and designed for the newest componentry such as wireless electronic shifting.  The T68 is designed as an all around ultralight carbon bike.  It is aerodynamic but not at the expense of comfort and easy handling.  With a raw frame weight of only 780 grams it is ultralight but still durable and long lasting.  The tube shapes ensure proper stiffness but with a responsive feel and easy manners.

The Thomas T68 is built monocoque using High Modulus T1000 carbon material and aerospace adhesives.  This frame is offered in 5 sizes and is only available for disc brakes.  The cable routing is fully internal.  The frameset includes frame, fork, headset, seatpost and a 1 piece carbon handlebar and stem.
